Layout Description
Portable Modular Shunting Layout. The layout is a freelance location on the Darling Downs.
The rail yards provide a service to the local town and district with a station, goods shed, side loading bank, overhead crane and sheep & cattle yards.
Local industries have private sidings serving a butter factory, fruit co-op, flour mill and a fuel depot. Two trains in each direction service the town each day, in seasonal periods a local turnback train runs as well.
Trains are worked with a two person crew. A random card system details the work that is required by each train.
