UNION PACIFIC with BN and CP
Layout Description
An N Scale double deck layout designed for Operations. Following the modern Era practices with some old school ways.
The layout is designed as a point to point system with several locations along the route for operating / switching.
It represents the Union Pacific line from Portland Oregon to the Canadian border via Spokane. Spokane’s Yardley yard is the hub of the layout and services several operational districts. You will see a variety of prototypes as per the prototype with UP, BNSF and Canadian Pacific playing a major role in transportation of goods across the line from East to West and West to East.
The layout is currently still a works in progress with basic scenery 60% complete. This is a unique layout with some interesting engineering concepts as it spans two garages that are separated by an alley and has two helix’s with one being in a garden shed specifically procured for the helix.
