Leeville – N Scale Model Railroad
Layout Description
Leeville is an N Scale layout based on the USA Pacific NorthWest area.
The time is “Now” so double stack containers, Amtrak, and long freight trains.
The layout is double deck, around the wall of a 6 x 6.5m specially built room, with a peninsular that allows the track to move between levels.
It is ‘almost” fully scenicked with operating signals, crossing signals and other animation / automation.
NCE DCC wireless and plug in controls are used.
Servo’s control many of the switches. (Atlas code 55 track)
There are 8 power districts.
Operation is basic train order and layout rules for train control, but there is plenty of opportunity for switching if that is your interest.
A full circuit of the layout takes 25 minutes so there is an extensive mainline.
