Layout Description
Illawest is a HO Scale Layout based on the western area of Sydney (Penrith, Clyde) and the Illawarra region (Bomaderry).
The era is 1980’s to 1990’s with some historical steam engines seen as well.
The layout consists of diesel locomotives and freight trains from the 1980′ to 1990’s along with some examples of Sydney Suburban Trains from old “Red Rattler” single deck passenger trains, early double Deck trains and a Tangara thrown in.
