Layout Description
The layout is a ” restoration / rebuild project” and still a works in progress at this time, with track and turnouts all laid and point motors installed.
Scenery has not been commenced at this point of the project however some electrical wiring for accessories has been put in place.
The layout is based on the township of Kelliher in Minnesota, which is the entrance to Red Lake. Of note the town has the grave of Paul Bunyan as its foremost tourism attraction.
The design of the layout does not adhere to any strict format or style and the industries which will populate the layout will give the layout a degree of poetic license.
