New South Wales and Queensland based on Tenterfield to Wallangarra
Layout Description
Saddlersfield is an O Scale layout built in a scale of 7mm = 1 foot. It is inspired by the now abandoned line from Tenterfield to Wallangarra.
The two stations are named Saddlersfield and Jennings to allow “modellers licence” to justify variations to the prototype to accommodate space constraints.
Operation is from a “fiddle yard” representing all points south to a terminus at Jennings via Saddlersfield.
The Queensland portion is from a “fiddle yard” to Jennings where interchange occurs.
There is a provision for continuous running for NSW prototype trains.
