Layout Description
The layout Samford was inspired by the section of the long closed branch line to Dayboro between Samford and Yugar tunnel, compressed to fit a designated space.
The layout was originally designed as a show layout and was exhibited four times. Unfortunately Covid limited the opportunities to attend shows. It’s last outing was to Bundaberg in 2023. The layout has since been in the process of being converted to a sit down operating layout.
