Layout Description
A layout under the house, with stepped parts because of ongoing excavations over 15 years. Initially, a liking of Lima models inspired interest in model railroading.
The layout started with DCC with Garratts and 36 class locos. Over the years many more locos were acquired, now all fitted with sound. The layout comprises 51 locomotives, mostly operated in consists. Train operation is with long prototypical trains such as coal trains hauled by Garratts and 51 class. Motive power is steam and diesel (DL, NR, 44, 42 48 etc)
